New works Kristina White & Black. For Exhibition.

New works Kristina White & Black. For Exhibition.

New works created for the Royal Academy of Arts Summer Show. Beautiful images of Kristina or Kmiroslavshayaart on Instagram. In these interconnecting drawings, I used high b pencil, charcoal, and ground graphite on fabriano to channel deep emotion and intensity. The expressionistic, figurative style captures a raw, symbolic moment of vulnerability and strength. The contrasts draw you into a mysterious, compelling energy—perfect to add depth and drama to any space. Kristina Black & Kristina White are two works with a dream like nightmarish quality. One black predominantly the other white. Symbolic of good and evil. Light and dark. Black but with three crosses. Light can shine in darkness. Kristina White light but looks witch -like is the image evil? Is Kristina Black evil even though she adorns crosses. Questions imagery what we see. What really is goodness and truth, in todays world where truth is being questioned. Light shines in the darkness but the darkness has not understood it. What is truth now? In a new world where truth is being challenged. Framed with a reclaimed wooden frame painted by the artist.
